After acceptance, how can I enroll in the GDS Certificate Program?

This article outlines the key steps you need to take to successfully enroll in the Green Digital Skills Certificate Program. 

 

Step 01: Complete the Pre-Learning Survey

Once you have received the acceptance letter, you will need to complete a pre-learning survey to reserve your place on the course. You should follow 2 important steps:

• Submit the survey by the deadline specified in the acceptance letter.
• The email address used in the survey should be the same as the one for which you received the acceptance letter, otherwise your new email address will not be recognised and you will not be able to access the learning platform.

Once you have submitted the Pre-Learning Survey, you are in! Congratulations! Immediately after submitting, you will receive a confirmation email containing the link to your Learner Homepage, more information about your facilitator, links to upcoming orientation sessions, and other details about the course.

 

Step 02: Wait for instructions on how to join the GDS Learning Platform

Now that you have completed the pre-learning survey and received a confirmation email, all you need to do is wait for the first day of the course and the email with the login instructions. The email will be sent at any time during the first day, so don’t panic if you don’t find it in your inbox in the morning. 

Congratulations, you are now officially registered on the GDS Learning Platform.

 

Step 03: Log in to the Learning Platform and start learning 

Now that you have your 1st day email and know how to log in to the platform, you are ready to learn! 

 

The general login process

Your username is your email address and your password is the one you received in your 1st day email. You will be asked to change your password after your first login. 

 

Common login issues 

If you used different email addresses for your application form and pre-learning survey, you may not be able to log in. Make sure you try both email addresses when logging in.

If you already have an account on the GDS Learning Platform, the password sent to you in the 1st day email may not work for you. If you have forgotten your password, please try resetting it using the ‘Forgotten Password’ option on the login page.
